Data Deletion
Instructions for requesting deletion of PersonaChat account data, including account identifiers, chat-related activity, created characters, generated content, and related account records where technically and legally possible.
PersonaChat standard
Public pages, character profiles, policy links, and support paths work together to make PersonaChat feel curated, trustworthy, and serious about the fictional companion experience it offers.
To request deletion of your PersonaChat account data, email info@personachat.io with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your PersonaChat account so the team can identify your account and process the request.
After receiving a valid request, PersonaChat will delete or anonymize account-related data where technically and legally possible, including account profile information, authentication identifiers, chat history, created characters, likes, favorites, generated images, and other account activity.
Some limited records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, or compliance purposes.
You may request deletion of Discord-related PersonaChat data, including Discord-linked conversation threads, stored Discord messages, relationship or story state, Discord continuation or import records, and Discord identifiers stored by PersonaChat where deletion is legally and technically permitted.
Use the same deletion request method on this page. Your request may need enough information to verify ownership, such as PersonaChat account information, your Discord user ID, and the relevant Discord server ID when applicable. Deleting data from PersonaChat does not delete data independently stored by Discord itself; use Discord’s own controls for data held directly by Discord.
If you used Facebook Login or connected a Meta account to PersonaChat, you may also remove PersonaChat from your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites.

Using the email address linked to your PersonaChat account helps confirm the request and reduces the risk of deleting the wrong account.
Processing time
PersonaChat aims to process valid deletion requests within 30 days, unless additional verification, legal obligations, or security review is required.
